Logan’s Run motorcycle run is Aug. 13

RICHFIELD TWP. — The Davison Eagle Riders will host the 13th annual Logan’s Run Motorcycle Run & Dinner fundraiser at the Davison Eagles Aerie 3589, 3270 State Rd. on Aug. 13.

Registration is 8-10:30 a.m. with kickstands up at 10:30 a.m. The ride ends at 4 p.m. with the last bike expected in at 5 p.m.

Stops on the run will include Kingston Outfield, the Bank Colwood Bar & Grill and the Iron Horse Bar & Grill.

Dinner is from 5-7:30 p.m. and will feature hamburgers, brats, hotdogs, salads and desserts.

The cost is $20 per driver and $15 per passenger. Just dinner and events is $10 and children under 12 are $5. There will be 50/50s. a gun raffle, ticket raffle and silent auctions.

Performing that evening will be the Rachelle Rae Band.

Participants can register the night before at the club’s bike night.

An All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast will be available for $10 in the morning. It includes eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, French toast, Danish, coffee, juice and milk. — G.G.

DAVISON TWP. — Trumpeter & Evangelist returns to Living Grace Church, 7074 Davison Rd. Don Shire, world renowned Trumpeter will have the entire service on Aug. 14 from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at the church.

Rep. Martin invites residents to August office hours

DAVISON TWP. — State Rep. David Martin recently announced his upcoming local office hours will be held Aug. 16 in Davison.

Local office hours are an opportunity for residents to meet face-to-face with Rep. Martin to share their thoughts, questions, and concerns. The meetings are open to the public, and no appointment is necessary to attend.

This month, Rep. Martin will be available from 1:30-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, in the Callbox Lounge at the Davison VFW, 8031 E. Court St. in Davison.

RUMC reaching out to those in need Aug. 20

RICHFIELD TWP. — The Richfield United Methodist Church, 10090 Coldwater Rd., just east of M-15, is reaching to benefit those in need.

There will be a free takeout breakfast for those in need on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 10-11 a.m. and each third Saturday. Takeout or eat at our picnic table. — G.G.

RICHFIELD TWP. — The Davison Class of 1970 Reunion is Aug. 20 from 1-5 p.m. at Richfield Park Pavilion 3.

Veterans Appreciation Night at Lakeville football

OTISVILLE — At the Lakeville Varsity Football game Sept. 10, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. there will be registration at the Lakeville football stadium for Veterans Appreciation Night.

Veterans receive free admission to the game, which has a 7 p.m. kickoff time. They also receive a complimentary hot dog and pop.

The game will feature the Lakeville Falcons vs. Ovid-Elsie.
