Women’s Club Meet and Greet

FLUSHING — The GFWC Flushing Women’s Club will be hosting a Meet and Greet event at Kathy’s 126 Restaurant-N-Lounge on Oct. 18 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Learn how you can get involved with the Club’s community projects and activities and help others with a volunteer spirit. Game Night at the Sloan

FLINT — The Flint Cultural Center will be a hosting an Adult Game Night at Sloan Museum, Oct. 27 from 6 to 10 p.m. Enjoy The Fenech Feud, Mario Kart on the big screen, table top games and so much more. Refreshments and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door for non-members and $6 in advance, $10 at the door for members. This event is for ages 21+ only. Buddy Boy’s Friday Football Frenzy

FLINT — Team Buddy will host a Friday Football Frenzy at Foutch’s Pub in Flint, Oct. 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. Participants are encouraged to wear their team colors. The cost is $30 per couple and includes heavy hor d’oeuvres. The first 50 tickets sold will be entered into a door prize drawing, which is a Sunday Brunch for Two at the Brick Street Bar & Grill in Grand Blanc. Swiss Steak Dinner

FLUSHING —The public is welcome to join the Flushing Masonic Lodge for a Swiss Steak Dinner on Oct. 21, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Flushing Masonic Center. The dinner is $10 per person. Take-outs are available. The Flushing Masonic Center is located on 349 S. Seymour Rd. in Flushing. — B.G.

Flushing Raider Robotics Fundraiser

FLUSHING — Flushing Raider Robotics is asking for your help with their Pop Can Drive. It will be held on Oct. 13 at the Flushing United Methodist Church parking lot from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please consider donating your cans to the kids to help them earn money for their team. WFBA to hold monthly meeting at Woodhaven

FLINT TWP. — The West Flint Business Association will be holding its Oct. 18, Nov. 15, and Dec. 13 meetings at Woodhaven Senior Community Center, G-5201 Woodhaven Court. It is in the back of the Woodhaven Community off of Dye Road (by Corunna Road). There will be a buffet for $8. (please pay by cash or check). We’re working on being able to accept credit cards.
