Flushing Firefighters Easter Egg Hunt this month

FLUSHING — Flushing Firefighters, Incorporated, the department’s nonprofit, is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on March 31 in Riverview Park. Kids up to the age of 14 are welcome and should arrive at 11:45 a.m. The hunt begins at noon. Details: 810-659-1241. — S.T.

Masonic Lodge Swiss steak dinner

FLUSHING — It’s Swiss steak dinner time! Flushing Masonic Lodge is having a Swiss steak dinner on March 18 at 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Flushing Masonic Center, 349 S. Seymour Rd, Flushing, MI. Dinner is $10 per person, take-outs are available and the public is welcome. The lodge will be accepting donations to the Flushing Christian Outreach Center, an organization serving anyone in the 48433 zip code area. The FCOC will accept food, clothing, personal care items, pet food, small household goods and cash; no furniture will be accepted. Health Expo this weekend

DAVISON — The 6th annual 2018 Davison Health & Wellness EXPO is this Saturday March 10, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. held at the First Baptist Church gym, 208 E. Fourth St. The EXPO brings Healthy information and fun with the addition of Laser Tag, contests and a “Superhero Super Health” theme, plus it’s all free. Look for health screenings, education information, healthy habits and much more. Plus Super Hero characters will be around to take photos with. DC4K helps children of divorce with life skills

GRAND BLANC — Divorce Care for Kids, or DC4K, is a 13-week, faith-based, nondenominational support system for children ages 5-12. DC4K offers a safe, caring, and fun environment where children can explore healthy life skills to maneuver through the fracturing of divorce and help them process feelings and give them tools to communicate better. Classes are available starting Monday, March 5, continuing each Monday until May, from 6:30-8 p.m. at New Life Christian Fellowship in Grand Blanc.
