Photo by Todd Boone FLUSHING – Welcoming Clio on Friday, the Flushing varsity boys’ basketball team had to play tough on the defensive end to get a 44-38 win over the Mustangs. Leading Flushing with a double-double was Cal Endicott, who tossed in 18 points to go along with his 11 rebounds.

“The game wasn’t pretty, but once again we relied on our defense to will us to a win,” said Flushing coach Adam Smith. “Clio was very prepared for us and played with great energy. Our defense gave up just seven baskets the entire four quarters so I’m pleased with the urgency we’re playing defense with.”
